The minimum dimensions of each bookmatched half is:
19″ x 6-1/2″ x 0.115″ (483mm x 165mm x 2.9mm)

Ziricote, Cordia dodecandra
Largely chosen for its gorgeous colors, deep black variegation and wide color pallette ziricote is one of the most visually stunning tonewoods available today.

Heavier than most Rosewoods, it works somewhat like Ebony but tends to be slightly more brittle. It has a reputation for more tangential movement than other species. To avoid cracking it’s best maintained at a relative humidity of between 40 and 60 percent.
